IPrivileges of Membership

The Library & Information Services (LIS) newsletter "LIS Connections" is published three times a year.  It seeks to inform members of new and/or useful services and programs, resources, and personnel in the OWU LIS Department.

 

Circulation Privileges

25 checkouts at one time; 5 week loan period with 1 renewal for 5 weeks; in-house use of periodicals.

 

Government Publications

Available for use whenever Beeghly is open.

 

Reference Requests

Accepted in person, by letter, telephone (740-368-3242) or e-mail (refdesk@owu.edu).

 

CONSORT

The online catalog is available for searching through the Internet.   CONSORT includes the collections of Denison University, Kenyon College, and the College of Wooster.  Friends may borrow up to 5 books from the other CONSORT libraries for titles unavailable from OWU.  Books must be picked up at Beeghly Library.

 

OhioLINK

OhioLINK is the online catalog of the statewide consortium of academic libraries and the State Library of Ohio.   Friends may check out books directly from any OhioLINK library.  Friends may also request up to 5 items unavailable on CONSORT from OhioLINK libraries.  These items must be picked up from Beeghly.
